It's more the point that even when he knows that his lag is worse than usual, He will still add to piss everyone off. Countless times have I suggested/asked FA not to add because his warp was too bad, but he still added.

He's only been banned because recently his warp has hit a new extreme and it's just unplayable & his attitude towards the situation.

Also I think a lot of people here don't fully comprehend how bad his warp is. If you're playing with lower pings like Panda, Roo & myself, it looks (and is) a lot worse.

And if you want to know what it's like from my point of view (and other 0-16 pingers) take a look at this.

Solutions lag on the other hand is only game changing when he's at your flag, and before you know it he's somewhere else. But even then it's only annoying on certain maps. He cannot exactly fix his issue as it seems to be hardware bassed.


Roo's warp was a fair bit different. It's a lot easier to kill a 16 ping warper, than it is to kill a 200 one. (It's also less annoying) Also it didn't get worse over time. It's a change HE had to deal with too.
You also have to take into consideration that even with Roo's warp he was still a great player, and didn't really hinder you if you were on his team.

This decision was made by all the #aus.gather staff at the time (which is everyone now minus Buddhaa and Projekt), not Panda alone.

I should also point out Padriac was also asked not to add further due to his warp.

Don't know why you even said that, unless you're implying I can fix my issue.
I'd have to get new Internet and Phone line - Which isn't up to me, since I don't live alone.

pretty cool how you mention fa's bad attitude hez, when you post peoples facebook pictures, torrent on purpose in protest ( ie tantrum ) and seem to always have an issue with someone in the community.
i guess having a quality gather is more important ( i dont know about everyone else but i would have much rather gather with a lagger whos a decent bloke than alot of the whining fags that add )

ps. this post has nothing to do with me protesting my ban, im on a different net 3 days of the week and could have continued gathering had i wished.

Maybe you should EXPLAIN to whoever you're living with that:
A) You won't need a new phone line.
B) You'll have a better internet connection.
C) It will cost a LOT less monthly.
D) Tell whoever signed up for your wireless that they're a retard. Signing up for wireless when you're in Metro VIC and are able to have ADSL1 1.5/8 for a stupidly low cost.

FA's warp has been getting progressively worse over time, and it's not the lag that he was banned for in the first place. It was his attitude towards Panda and the actions he took after being asked/told not to !add.

I haven't torrented whilst playing in ages, I haven't even loaded up uTorrent in weeks for that matter. All downloading is done after 1am and that's normally when no one is around.

It's not my fault that half the people in the community never listen or take advice. Like yourself really, obviously you put effort into your post but didn't read anything thats been said in the past 4 pages.
Also, I have temporary problems with people, There's more than a handful in the community that I never used to get a long with. But now there's no problems on either side.

From what i read Panda banned him before there was a disscussion and did not even explain it? thats what i was refering at.

Panda should of atleast warned FA 1 or 2 times before even mentioning a ban and there should of been a clear ban reason when he was banned/kicked. (I think panda may of just jumped on the bandwagon a bit with the whole FA thing..)
